Junior Clerkship

1. NAME OF PROGRAMJUNIOR CLERKSHIP

2. DESCRIPTIONThis is an 18 month residential program offering 13 courses which are: Work of the Ministry, Shepherding, Spiritual Guidance, Financial Management, Marriage Counselling, Church History, Demonology, Loyalty and Disloyalty, Leadership, Church Growth, The Anointing, Evangelism and missions, Charismatic doctrine .The program is designed to equip the student with the requisite knowledge and skills to engage in the ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ. This program is unique in the sense that, students are engaged in lectures, hands-on ministry experience and small group interactions. It contains a practical segment in which students engage in ministry skills development sessions for example: Waiting on God skills, Preaching skills, Communication skills and Bible Memorization & Character Development skills. Student assessments are in the areas of spirituality, moral character, attitude and in academic performance. Written assessments, including multiple choice questions take place in an ultra-modern testing center equipped with 100 laptop computers. Oral and practical scenario examinations test the student’s ability to relate knowledge acquired to practical ministry.  

3. WHO QUALIFIES: The entry qualification for this program is the WASSCE or equivalent.

4. WHAT DO YOU GET? Successful completion of this program leads to the award of a Lay Ministers Certificate.
